ElevenLabs is an AI audio company whose software turns text into speech and clones voices. Its products are grouped into three platforms: ElevenCreative for producing audio, ElevenAgents for building and deploying voice agents, and ElevenAPI for developers adding audio to their own applications.

Voice generation supports a high degree of emotional expression, and voice cloning is a core capability, with ten professional voice clones included on the Business plan.

Voice agents connect to telephony systems including Twilio and RingCentral, so an agent can hold a phone conversation rather than only running inside a web page. Around that sit integrations with CRM systems including Salesforce, Zoho and Pipedrive, customer support tools such as Zendesk and ServiceNow, scheduling and messaging through Calendly and Slack, payments through Stripe, and work data in Asana and Airtable. Zapier, Make and n8n are supported for automation, and agents can draw on real-time data while a conversation is in progress.

Usage is metered in credits, and the rates differ by task. For V2 Multilingual models, each generated character costs one credit. Speech to text costs 330 credits a minute. Dubbing costs 2,000 credits a minute when produced automatically with a watermark, or 3,000 credits a minute without one. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle, and unused credits roll over for up to two months.

There is a free plan at $0. Starter is $6 a month for 30,000 credits and Creator is $22 a month for 121,000. Pro is $99 a month for 600,000 credits and adds 44.1kHz PCM output through the API alongside 192kbps audio. Scale is $299 a month for 1,800,000 credits across three seats, with team collaboration features. Business is $990 a month for 6,000,000 credits and ten seats. Enterprise pricing is custom, with credits, seats and priority support agreed individually. Paying annually costs ten months instead of twelve, and payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

ElevenLabs describes itself as an AI research and product company, and it runs a dedicated safety team with a multi-layered defence system intended to prevent misuse of synthetic voices. Its Impact programme gives free licences to nonprofits and to individuals who need the technology for accessibility.
