Refund policy
Short version: if we did not deliver, you get your money back. If your slot ran, it ran.
Last updated 20 August 2026Every case
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| EU or UK buyer, within 14 days | You have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days and get your money back. Dodo Payments is the seller of record here, so that cancellation runs through their checkout terms. Note that a listing or placement goes live the moment the payment clears, and immediate delivery can end the right where you agreed to it at checkout. Ask us either way and we will sort it out. |
| Submission we reject | Refunded in full, automatically, within five working days. You do not have to ask. |
| Launch fee, before your launch date | Refunded in full on request, up to 24 hours before the date opens at 08:00 UTC. |
| Launch fee, after the launch has run | Not refundable. The slot was used and nobody else could take it. That is what a capped slot means. |
| Pro subscription | Cancel any time; the current period runs to its end and does not renew. No pro-rata refund for a part-month. |
| Sponsor slot or category spotlight | Refunded in full if you cancel before the Monday your week opens. Once a week has started it is not refundable: the slot was held for you and nobody else could buy it. A refund takes the advertisement down and frees the week. |
| Anything we got wrong | Refunded. If a placement did not run, ran in the wrong slot, or ran without the label it was sold with, tell us and we will return the money. |
How to ask for one
Email us with the order reference. We do not require a reason and we will not try to talk you out of it. Expect a reply within two working days and the money back within five of that, to the original payment method.
Refunds are processed by our merchant of record, who also issued the invoice, so the credit and the tax treatment stay consistent with the original charge.
Chargebacks
Please email first. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund and takes months to resolve, and there is no case where you would end up better off than simply asking. We have never refused a refund request that fell inside this policy.
